This is a district wide event in the Sweetwater School District. Colleges and universities from around the city, state and country will be available to meet with district students. It is a very popular event among juniors and seniors. It is a very busy event.

Health and Heat Summit
Volunteers will take the registration kit and set up the display table, then staff the table, providing information about LWV, voting and registration.

Description:
The Summit is held yearly and is hosted by UCSD Medical School, Kaiser Permanante and San Diego Foundation. It includes speakers, breakout sessions and posters about environmental issues in San Diego and beyond.

The League will table and provide information on voting, upcoming ballot propositons and voter registration. The event is from 8:30 - 3:30PM but the tabling is from 12:15-1:45, during the lunch break. Volunteers can attend the entire event, but need to have the table setup by about 11:30. Volunteers must register at the link above; registration is free.
